December is almost here! Now that Thanksgiving and Halloween have passed, the Christmas season is rapidly approaching. The countdown to the holidays has started, whether we like it or not. And perhaps this isn't that bad after all! Here are some of our suggestions to help you get in the holiday spirit.

Start decorating

Start spreading festive cheer throughout your personal space! It's a perfect time to start decorating your house and your study spot with Christmas lights, garlands, wreaths, candles and so many more. Take some inspiration from Reader’s Digest list of DIY Christmas decorations.

Cook your favorite holiday recipes

It's never too late to begin preparing for dinner parties! Make some holiday goodies by researching recipes or bringing the family recipe book. It's just as much pleasure to recreate our favorite dishes as it is to find new ones, especially when we can share them with others.

Watch Christmas movies

Put on your coziest jammies and get ready for the most joyful movie marathon of the year. This is the ideal opportunity to take a break from your typical routine and spend time with your friends while watching the all-time favorite Christmas movies such as How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Klaus or Home Alone.

Spend time with your loved ones

We all know what the holiday season is truly about: spending time with your loved ones. So, call your family, friends, classmates or work colleagues and organize a get-together. There’s nothing better than surrounding yourself with people that share the same interests and energy as you.

DIY holiday crafts

There are many DIY projects that may get you in the holiday spirit! The options are limitless, including handcrafted décor, self-care items, and greeting cards. Perhaps this year you’ll want to ditch the store-bought gifts in favor of homemade ones? Either way, DIY crafts still remain a great way to spark up your creativity and handcrafting skills.

Choose a Christmas tree

Getting into the holiday spirit is a cherished tradition, and choosing the perfect Christmas tree plays a central role in this festive experience. Across the United States, the journey begins with the exploration of Christmas tree farm listings. This personalized search ensures that every family can find the ideal evergreen companion for their holiday celebrations.
